I actually like the evening sun, it gives a bit of highlight to the pics... which are really nicely taken I might add! You already know your snakes are HOTT So I won't elaborate on my jealousy too much!! 
I think the last couple pics were my favorite, the one from the side and the one where the head is resting on the tail... very nicely composed, but of course subject matter really helps!
