All Asian turtle are in need of help.To the supprise of all some went from common as dirt to rare in less than 15 yrs.Cuora flavomargina was a common low end pet trade turtle in the early 90's (less than $10 wholesale) by the end of that decade they became scarce.Try to find an adult for sale. The history of the Asian turtle crisis began about 1989 when the Chinese money was converted to the world money market, and their money was spent outside of China.A huge"middle class" demanded turtles for food and TCM.(voo-doo meds).People in all of Asia had used turtles for themselfs to eat and trade daily but know one ever wanted TONS of turtles daily. Now they are offered money,of which many have little of.Its been known as a dark hole for dissapearing turtles.Vic
