Well, from what I understand, they can tolerate temps in the mid sixties, but it takes them longer to get going during the day.
I would not use any under tank heaters or heat rocks. There have been serious injuries associated with heat rocks, especially in reptiles that mostly sense heat from above. I have even seen snakes with heat rock burns. Why would you not want a heat emitter but would use the other two? Heat emitters work great,and you can probably get by with a fairly low wattage if the viv is in your house. Mine are all in an unheated sun room.
