Hi lele, geesh... funny I was just thinking about you last week while checking the chameleon forum. Glad to see ya Sorry to hear your handsome blotchy dropped his pretty blue tail that is so common for them in the wild as they have so many big guys and snakes after them for a meal.
Anyway they do regenerate their tails , just not as nice or as long as the original. Funny how some do and some don't. I have a desert iggy who dropped his about 5 years ago, and his grew back even longer than original, just has no nice color or pattern to it. Don't really matter as he is pretty anyway.
I also have a female granite spiny, gorgeous, who lost hers (I was bummed) and never has grown back.
Nice to hear the couple is doing well though other than the tail.
What have you been up to, and yes fill me in on the other kids, lol. ----- PHEve / Eve
