Hi Eve - thanks. I'll dab some betadine (povo) on his tail tonight while he's groggy with sleep and then some ointment, too.

Cyrus has a mass in his head. We found it in Feb. He had been having problems but I was attributing it to other things (falling due to toenail loss when he was a screen climbing baby, thrashing after drinking due to aspirating, but I couldn't figure out why he kept aspirating other than it seemed he gulped his water). Then one day I out him on the ground to see how he was walking and sure enough he kept turning right or circles but not straight for very long and never left. We went to the vet that afternoon, x-ray and saw something not right. Tried antibiotics in case there was infection - no response, tried steroids in case inflammation - no change. So short of exploratory surgery or MRI we don;t know what it is. I have made is cage "handicap accessible" but seems I am always changing it. Sometimes he sleeps on the bottom (it's padded with 12" of bubble wrap then covered in paper towels) or in his vet box on his side. You should see the pics I have of him!! He's had hospital beds, little blankest to prop him up at night so he doesn't fall from his perch. All in all he is doing great! So he may be with me another 5 years, 5 months, 5 weeks. He is still an absolute sweetie. I do end up with doozies!!

Darwin (beardie)- my love, my problem child. Still a problem eater, may have the adenovirus (you may recall he is a translucent which are prone) but I have decided not to get him tested since there is nothing I can do. I am moving into a new place soon and he will be in a high traffic area so I am hoping that will help him out some, too

So do you still have Cadberry?

Thanks for the tail info -
