I like it very much and my pine snakes like it too. Cypress purchased for landscaping has a very strong odor, so I would not go that route. I did find some dried, compacted cypress mulch in a cube at a hardware store. I added a bit of water and gradually broke apart the cube - it wasn't too strong of a smell (in my opinion) to put directly into my pine snake cages. [ Hide Replies ]
