First breeding of the year

I had my first breeding of the year ... Yea ... It was my normal bred to my candy cane. Thinks when I bought this pair i was told the normal was the male and candy cane the female. well it was the other way around. I finally probed the candy cane after it was with my male sunglow for just over a month and nothing.
