To those with a passion for the inherent natural variation of the species and the uniqueness of each population, it seemed intuitive to maintain in captivity the variety that was a large part of the reason the species held such intrigue for the folks that pursued them. It had very little if anything to do with finance as Joe said. By their very nature, gray-banded kingsnakes are not commercially collectible. Those folks who choose to pursue them do so at great expense. | ||
