injecting feeders

hey I was wondering, the other day I was feeding and injected water into all the mice I fed to my snakes.

does anyone else do this?

could they even absorb the water after being injected into a mouse?

I know that food doesent dissolve rght when it hits their stomachs. They always have fresh water if they want it.
