I sure put in my hours to say the least, lol. Although not the Tarzan you have proven to be, I do try to get into the field every now and then. Although an avid novice field herper from ages 10 - 14 before leaving Los Angeles to immigrate to NY (truly was, and at times still IS, a culture shock...), I have only this year (at age 36) begun to get back into the field by venturing down to Virginia thanks to Howie S. and Phil P., and have been receiving friendly invites as of this year to herp in Mississippi, Arizona, Florida, Kansas, and my old stomping grounds of Califoohnyah. But until I get to that airport, the Pine Barrens will just have to do. But what I REALLY wanna do is do some herping in the Philippines as my wife is from there. Although I have no connections at present regarding this (not that I have tried real hard either...), I'm sure a few inquiries and some crisp Benjamins could potentially get me a productive few days in the tropics there. I've been there twice to visit in-laws, and the only herp-related experience was seeing a roadside vendor selling a five-foot retic but for consumption. Any experiences there on your end Dell??
