Oral swabs like that are more a short term cure cleaning up the base issue, but not the others. A vet will prescribe an antibiotic that will be an oral one. I recently had an iguana in my rescue with recurring mouth rot, treated the same way you did for many years. We are hoping the oral antibiotics are the cure.

Defiantely go to the vet.
