Hi Tom,

Sure I will help if I can......

I used 2 nestboxes with a small plastic tube (pvc) as entrance. I burried them totally with only the small tube sticking out, she used these for sleeping and she digged a little in them, but in the end she did not use them as nestbox.

I have one end of the cage filled with 25 / 30 cm of sand (washed playsand) wich a keep moistered. When she is about to lay the eggs and starts digging pretty often I make sure that I mist this part slightly every day. the nestboxes were in this area, but she choose to dig some holes by herselve and finally she laid her eggs in her selfmade burrow right underneath the entrance of one of the nestingboxes. It was quite a challange finding the eggs as she digged a burrow of about 30 cm.

So thats my story, she did not use any nesting boxes and she just needed lots of sand to dig in. The sand must be sligtly moisteres so the holes she digs will not collapse.

Hope its any help for you. (and I hope I did not make to many spelling errors)

gr. Kamiel
