I had one of those "Paradox Albino Northerns" several years ago and your right, it hatched out with the black markings. Ive never seen one develop it after the fact. Very interesting stuff indeed!

BTW, if anyone is curious the northern I am referring too can be seen on The Home Grown herps website under future projects.
