Chinese Beauties as a subspecies (or form) of Beauty Snake, are great imho, because they don't get as large as many of the other subspecies/forms, and they are generally nonagressive. I have never been bitten by any of my beauties, either adults or juveniles. Their feeding response does not seem to be as well deveolped as in the other Beauty Snakes however, and mine prefer to feed in privacy at night. However, although they are not as agressive feeders as other beauties, the neonates are easy to start feeding, and took f/t pinks for their first meals for me. Calico is a simple recessive, so calico x het calico = 50% of offspring are calico, and 50% are het for calico. | ||
