Sounds to me like you are talking about a tricolor.

Thin black bands would be what we call pinstripes although they are technically "pinbands".

Hypos would be the ones that stay clean as adults but they all vary to some degree.. you can have normals that stay clean and some hypos can get a lot of tipping also.
