Mark, I work with all three known locales in the hobby.I am sure you are talking about the Almaelco line that Llemke and others brought back in the late 70's and early to mid 80's.
I still have a wild caught male here from Llemke that was wild caught in 83 as a adult.He is still chugging along and breeding.He is also the grandfather to all the aberrant and striped animals you see in the hobby.

The third line is from Jalapan and is the furthest east they have been found.I also have one of those thats about 20 years old now.
