The bullsnake I posted about last week is laying her eggs! I don't know how many she's laid yet but I could see one through the sterilite container she's in (yes, it's one of the big sterilites that's larger than a 20 gallon aquarium).

I have had quite a few snakes over the past 15 yrs. I'm fortunate to still have the majority of the ones I started with Some of the people above had noted the hesitance in answering my question was due to giving advice that might still lead to death.

Perhaps I should have originally posted that I'm not the type of person to ever play the blame game. I wanted the advice of people who have experience with breeding snakes. I know that when it comes to the health of my snakes, there really are no "rules"...there are always so many things that can go wrong.

I really do appreciate the advice that was given to me. It's having several opinions from experienced people that helped me make the decision to hold off on taking her to the vet for a little while. I live in an area where there aren't many GOOD herp vets. I pretty much knew that if I were to take her in, they'd automatically do something drastic. And I wanted to avoid that if it wasn't absolutely necessary.
