Hi Eve! I was so sure she was stuck some where in the messy room and I would just never find her. When I saw her tail I did NOT think they had gotten her! Frankly, I am surprised she did not get away, but my little Russian Blue is a fast devil bit*h! I was so mad at her I didn't feed her until 10:00 last night - of course we were cuddling and purring soon after, she not really a bit*h but a very sweet kitty. She just reminded me that she is pure cat. She has wanted Ana as long as I've had her - well, she finally got her! I should be grateful that my kitties are the kind that "play" with their prey and don't just "catch and chew!"
I put some betadine on it and will put some silvadene ointment on it once I feel she is ready for some more handling. I know it stresses her so
I just had a thought though. Since she can't go into any sand right know and won't be able to for at least a few days as she heals up, what will she lay her eggs in if/when she is ready and will the pressure rupture the cut on her side? What can I offer her in her new "paper towel world" that will entice her to lay so she doesn't get eggbound???? ----- Chameleon Help & Resource Info
