I think if she is really that close to laying I would put a damp pile of sand on one end of the tank for her, so she does not get any more stressed.

You can always clean her wound each day, as far as her side, well she can't turn back now she has to lay so guess we have to hope her side will not open as she lays. Shame, what happened, but the little girl will have to deal with it for awhile, with your help,



They heal quick, hopefully all will be fine.
