Thanks! I'll share a secret on one thing I believe can really help raising big, beautiful and healthy Chuckwallas.... give them flowers!

I grow wildflowers for the chucks, especially Coreopsis tincta.. they love the flowers as well as the foliage and stems. Females especially eat them ravenously early in the season, they'll climb up my arms to get at them.. dozens of flowers and buds simply disappear!. Probably there is a lot of protein as well as other goodies in flowers. Whatever it is chucks thrive on them..

Here's a photo of the Coreopsis (foreground).. it's possible to grow a whole lot of these in a relatively small area.
