If your keeping them in an escape proof enclosure what do yu have to worry about? The same principles apply whether adults or hatchlings. Sun/Shade/Deep substrate. The Tortoise knows what to do, as long as you don't make decisions for it. Personally, hay sucks as a substrate. Dirt is the best, as long as the animal recognizes it, and it's suitable for burrowing. [ Hide Replies ]
