Something tells me the Uro was not a willing accessory to the crime!

Sidelights: Teenagers use lizard to scare schoolgirls

AL-JOUF: Four teenagers were arrested for sticking a Uromastyx or Dabb (a kind of large desert lizard) out of their car window in order to frighten schoolgirls, Al-Watan daily reported yesterday. Col. Daman ibn Wanis Al-Darain, the spokesman for the Al-Jouf police, said police received several complaints of a car full of teenagers using the lizard, which can grow up to 1 meter in length, to frighten schoolgirls. The teenagers would pull up to a group of girls and then stick the lizard out of their car, sending the young girls screaming for help. The teenagers’ prank was short-lived as police quickly arrived at the scene and arrested them.
