I've no idea whether those other animals you've mentioned are still alive or not.

I mention mine as being the only one currently known to exist by virtue of the uncertainty surrounding these other examples (and their whereabouts/status).

I did read (here I believe) that there was another amel Scarlet in captivity several years back, but that it fell victim to a 'rack accident' (runaway thermostat?).

Of course, there may also be siblings to this guy still roaming the wilds...

Anyway, that's all I know.
