It may be that they simply are not safe. The appropriate thing to do here would be to take it to a veterinarian and get a culture to determine exactly what the cause of the skin problem is, and also how to treat it properly. One of the reasons why we have bacterial resistance to our antibiotics is from people diagnosing problems themselves and treating it improperly. [ Hide Replies ]
