We have many north American skinks that look similar, especially as juvys. They also remind me of some tiny skinks that I saw on many of the Islands in French Polynesia (Tahiti). They were one of two lizard species that could be found on those islands. The other was the indo-Pacific Gecko of which I saw some very large specimens. I spent most of my time at night chasing them around. Many of the locals thought I was off my rocker. [ Hide Replies ]
