Hi i have him in a same enclosure as the rest of the collareds just with uv light that seem to be no problem for him.

the breeder i did buy this fellow from also use uv light and he has a group of big ones. so i think no problem.



i think you dont see them in the wild becouse of there colour as you know young collareds have red/orange colours to scare other lizzards away the hypo dont have that so he is a easy prey for other lizzards and birds.



i have a lot of bearded dragons like hypo translucent and leatherbacks that kind of morph you dont see in australia as wel but they can resist the uv light without any problems.
