that has happend to me on numerous occasions while assist feeding ch neos.
it does give you the prey's perspective to a degree.
i've found that the little ball would not start eating 'till i
stopped "pulsing" in my personal experiences.
it is okay to slide your finger out of the grip, they continue in their persuit just fine.
