I'm not a fan of hovabators, but if that's what you have to work with I recomend using a Helix thermostat along with it to help with flucuating temps.

When I incubate my rhino eggs in vermiculite I mix 1 part vermiculite to 1.25 parts water by weight.

Temperature at 86 degrees.

Eggs covered in shoe box size container with paper towel under lid to make sure condenseation doesn't drip on your eggs.
