So has Jack "Einstein" solved the cube yet? Maybe he could give me tips! LOL.

Yeah, it's been a very odd week, but I'm starting to feel almost normal today. I can't wait to get my little blood python; I keep staring at her photograph (which is online at redpython.net, but of course I've also printed out a copy to carry around).

Too bad most of my family and friends aren't excited by the idea of me getting a new snake! LOL However, my daughter is delighted by the idea of me getting a "Fat Sausage Snake" as she calls bloods, and she insists that I name her "Duchess."

I plan to move Loki up to a larger enclosure soon (he's ready) and I'll probably give Duchess his old tank, unless I opt for a sterlite container for her when she first arrives. Everyone says blood babies do better in smaller spaces since they feel more secure in them.

This is the first time I've bought a snake I haven't seen first in person. It's exciting but also a little scary. I'll post OT pics as soon as I can.

>>Thanks Renee. I was waiting until Jack actually solved the Rubik's cube before changing his name.

>>Hope you've recovered from the ER visit, not a good way to spend

>>Congratulations on the Blood Python, please post OT pics as often as possible.

>>Thanks,

>>>>Nice shots! I also liked your photos proving the genius of your snakes. (So how come you didn't name that braniac Einstein?)

>>>>It's just as well the forum's been slow this week, because I missed it all until now (ended up in the emergency room in need of blood transfusions and a quick surgery).

>>>>I'm getting a baby blood python later this month (my birthday present, slightly late since my birthday was June 27). It's really hard to wait! But I'll soon no doubt be joining you in adding OT photos to the forum----as a "proud mama."
