do calicos go through the change? And is it a gradual change over a period of time, each shed getting whiter, or is basically all at once. They seem to be highly variable from your pictures and I didn't know if with age they just get whiter or are they as white as they will get after about a year or two (keeping in mind variablility in the amount of that line of calicos).

And one more thing. Does it breed true or is it as random as piebalds? In other words can a "high white" calico yield "low white" babies and vice versa. Since there is no "super" if you breed high white to high white are they all high white?
