This is a guide i probably shouldnt put up yet, since im sure ill get some breeder slack for it lol so you all better love it! :D

Welcome to the Hunters Guide...
Here you will find all the details you will need to seek out Shatter Patterns (aka Marbled Balls)

Genetics:
Dominant ( A super form has not been produced yet). A Shatter Pattern bred to a normal will statistically give you 50% Shatters and 50% Normals

1. Shatter Patterns can be extremely easy to find or very difficult. Depending on the quality. The animal below happens to be one of the easier ones. The actual shatter pattern name comes from a grey discoloration of a scale patch. Some scales are solid grey while others in the localized area are the base color with grey running through them, which gives the shattered appearance. This is shown with the GREEN circles. Another important trait of Shatters is that the grey scales (or shatter effect ) runs down the body onto the stomach. Shown with the RED circle.

2.The same animal as above, just a close-up. The stomach pattern shown in RED and the body scales shown in GREEN.

3. This animal would be much harder to find. Very little grey, but more of the shatter effect shown in GREEN. The single most important and easiest way to find a Shatter Pattern (cant believe im even showing this in here lol) is the chin spot shown in BLUE. The chin spot is on almost (i said almost) all the Shatters, a very few do not have this. If you are looking for Shatters or looking to buy one, this is the fastest way to be sure. The chin spot is much darker and pronounced then on a normal Ball Python.

4.More body pattern shown in GREEN.

5. A new animal, that's older showing how the grey darkens as they age. Body pattern in GREEN, stomach pattern shown in RED

Variation 1:
A young Shatter

Variation 2:
An older Shatter Pattern, that shows the darkening of they grey.

There are many more variations, but they follow the same rules.

1. Grey scales on the body
2. The grey scales run down onto the stomach
3. Dark Chin spot

Hope this helps
