Contractions??

Can you notice any kind of contractions in females that are about to lay? My female is at day 31 after pre shed and tonight I was watching her with my flashlight and I noticed her what would look like breathing but I have never noticed such a strong breath. Is this some sort of contraction or just coincidence? None of my other females were making the breathing type of movement she was. Just wondering!
