Doug,

Due to the lack of any orange pigment in your Yellow Rat snake is it safe to assume there is little to no Everglades influence of any kind ?

Also, are you located in an area that would have little Everglades or Black Rat snake integration ?

That snake would make a great breeding project (IMO) if you where to as you sound like you have planed could find him a locality female that resembles his color and pattern.

I'd buy me a pair of those just because of how pure they (are) look.

Very Classic looking snake!!
