Yeah, they seem to disappear around late June to early July in lower desert when it "starts to get really hot".
I was out last week and noticed fewer chuckies than the month before. I didn't see any of the big males and females I saw in late May(even in early June), especially the big males. There were a few big females out, and one seemed like she just laid her eggs, and was just out replinishing.
Many of the chuckies out where the smaller younger ones. The same scenario was with the DIs, but with one diference, in that the smaller ones were out along with the big males. I even saw some hatchlings!
Hey, could you post that documentation whenever you find it?
