Chinese Beauties (Orthirophis taeniurus taeniurus), are a smaller variety of the Beauty Snake group, and stay just under six feet in length (max at about 70 inches). This makes them a good choice imho for someone who wants to keep Beauties, but doesn't have a lot of space. They are also a fairly docile variant, and I have not been bitten by one of these yet. Their fast, racer-like movements make you think you are about to get chewed on any second, but they only struggle to get away. The babies never even struck in self defense! | ||
