Posted by: jeffyboy at Sun Jul 6 18:45:34 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by jeffyboy ] So I was backpacking and this snake struck at me from brush on the side of the trail. I was making sure my dog didnt go near it before I was worried about a photograph so all I got was the back end of it...It's head was wider than the rest of it's body which I am assuming means it is poisonous. It had no rattler or at least was not using it. And the marking don't resemble what I thought a copperhead was supposed to look like. Any ideas? Oh this was in southeast ohio. [ Hide Replies ]
