I have never herped in the western part of the state, but would like to someday. There are four snakes on the states list that I have not found (timber rattler, copperhead, black rat, and worm snake), all of which are protected or endangered here. I believe all 4 are found in the Connecticut River valley and the western side of the state. Good luck out there. [ Hide Replies ]
