Just about all traits in corn snakes are simple RECESSIVE. This means that unless they are matched up with another recessive trait of the same kind, they will not be expressed (and therefore appear normal). It's possible that the motley is het for hypo or anery, which are components of ghost, but there's no way of knowing that without knowing the gentics of the motley (e.g. what it's parents were). | ||
