hey guys,

my rhino has just laid her eggs and last year she did but it was all natural under ground and such, this year she decided to lay them right in front of the door to my cage...so to prevent any loss i snatched up the six eggs in front of the door.... she is guarding the rest, i have just ordered the incubater so will be here with in the next few days... they are in a plastic tube with a heat pad in the bootom attach to a heat control device with sand under the eggs and placed around them... i know i need vermicite or how ever its spelled... will get it monday... but what temps and what other materials can i use???

and i did not rotate the eggs at all!!

another question... she laid them on a incline and two of them rolled into my little pond i have for them they sunk are they still good??? one is still hard and feels like the others but the other broke....

and are they eatable?? i was just curious???i wouldnt attempt it was just curious...
