Some of the naturally occuring polygenic appearances (like Orange and Gray phase) do go through a bit of a color change, but not Axanthics (aka Silvers). They're born silvery white and pretty much stay that way.

I got a pair from Randy in '06, and they're Trumbower Silvers...often a bit lighter than some of the other Axanthics, almost white because they're so light silver. Some Trumbowers look more or less average though. Randy's are nice.
