hmmmm ball python paternity test, sounds like a great patent, shall we start working on that, or lets go a step further and identify the sequences of the genes to all know ball python morphs so we can test possible hets and tell people exactly what they are het for, and heck while we are at it lets just sequence the entire ball python genome, because to my knowledge that hasn't been done yet, then we can patent all the genes and create new morphs at will via genetic engineering, and charge exorbitant prices for the new morphs we create and collect royalties on any subsiquent profits, sound like a plan? call me
I can start sequencing in my "spare" time at work, can you fund my reagents? If not we can just apply for some B.S. fed. grant for something else and then use the money for our BP project
