Posted by: micahdenton at Sun Jul 20 00:24:15 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by micahdenton ] personally i would rather breed a smaller female that 5 years then a larger 3-4 year old female. a lot of boas i see in pet shops are over weight in my view and have to be slimmed done before they breed will. age and good muscle tone are what i look for in a breeder female. I got a litter of 26 healthy babies, no slugs and 1 still from a 7 year old female that was only 4.5 feet and about 9 lbs. given her age i wouldn't think twice about breeding her. also she could have some CA blood in her and they are smaller boas as while. some of the dwarf nics and local boas have had healthy litter at 36 inches. | ||
