We are in the process of digitally recording all 2008' offspring and these are some Sunglows I photographed this week. These are some of the Sharp Sunglows and Kahl Sunglows produced here this season. Some are super Sunglows and some are not. Which ones do you like the best? No matter which albino/sunglow project is your personal favorite, they both have huge and increasing potential in the herp world today.

This is a Sharp Sunglow female that is a possible super Sunglow. She was produced from a Sharp Sunglow bred to a Sharp Sunglow. There is a video of this adult pair taken in the fall of 2007' on www.youtube.com at SALMONBOADOTCOM. This was a Sunglow to Sunglow breeding and there were almost 20 perfect eyed albinos/sunglows.

Here is another female Sharp Sunglow from that same litter.

This is a Kahl Strain Sunglow female that was produced from a Sunglow bred to a Sunglow. The litter was small but there were 100% “white” snakes with all perfect eyes.

This Sharp Sunglow female with tail striping is a littermate to the first Bloody albino in the world. This litter was produced from a triple het. Bloody Sunglow bred to a DH Bloody albino so she is 66% poss. het. for Blood boa.

When I started with Rich he had a female 2 year old female poss. Supersalmon that was the size of a yearling. She just grew really slow so she earned the name “Slowgrow” and finally when she was 4 years old she was large enough to be bred and she produced 1 Salmon het. albino baby. This Salmon baby grew up here and this last season at 3 years old she produced the first “GRW” Sunglows and they are everything we hoped they would be.

This Sharp Sunglow male was produced from a DH Sharp Sunglow bred to a Sharp albino.. This same pair of boas produced the Chocolate Sharp Sunglow last year.

This Kahl strain Sunglow was produced from a Maximus Coral Red Sunglow female bred to a new coral albino male.

Here is another Sharp Sunglow from the Sunglow to Sunglow pairing mentioned above.

Thanks for looking if you made it all the way down! Hopefully next season our Sunglow pic post will include pictures of a Bloody Sharp Sunglow; our fingers are crossed.

Have a great rest of the weekend!
John
