Always best to get clips fpr them as well and sometimes they don't work either with the larger snakes.

>>I forgot to tell you guys this story the other day. It's quite a long read, just so you know.

>>

>>So last weekend I was feeding Rocky in his feeding bin like always. After he took the rat pup(I've been feeding him smaller food items since he hasn't eaten in so long), I snapped the lid shut on his container and went upstairs and started chatting with some friends online. Naturally, I lost track of time and forgot to put Rocky back in his cage. Since it was pretty late, I decided to let him sit in the bin overnight and digest his food, something I've done before with no problem at all.

>>

>>I was sleeping soundly until I heard a banging on my door at like 10 in the morning. It was my brother, mumbling some mumbo jumbo that I tried to ignore so I could fall back asleep. However, he continued knocking and finally spoke at an audible level. He said, "Scott, get up. Rocky is out and got on the book shelf." I was fully awake within seconds screaming "WHAT!?! ARE YOU KIDDING!?!" "No," he said. I didn't even bother putting in contacts or taking out my retainer and bolted down the stairs into the basement in my pajamas, not caring how I looked in front of my brother's friend who was sleeping over. I stomped over to the book shelf and sure enough, there was Rocky, sitting atop a box of The Simpsons Chess Set. I said some not-so-very-nice things to him while trying to get him out(he was puffing up a bit to keep himself wedged in there). I made an attempt to grab his upper body, and he bit me! First bite ever from Rocky! Funny thing was though, was the fact that it didn't even hurt. I quickly got him out though, and he showed his displeasure by releasing some solid waste on my hand, which proceeded to stink up the basement. I called him some more not-so-very-nice things and placed him back in his cage. After locking it up, I washed my hands(that was all that was needed to clean up the bite, which surprised me alot), checked the basement for Rocky poop, and then went on my merry way upstairs to get dressed and eat.

>>

>>It was very surprising that Rocky managed to get out of his feeding bin. It's a Sterilite storage container with a snap on lid and he was never able to get out before. Lesson learned: make sure your lids are secure and never underestimate the strength of your pet snakes.
