These kinds of animals track down their mates during breeding times using pheromones, stuff we have no way of conciously detecting with our sniffers. They're much more sensitive to those smells than we are, just like buzzards as scavengers can smell roadkill from a loooooooooooong ways away. I was gonna say miles, but I dont actually know the facts, but you get the idea. | ||
