Posted by: Jeremy Pierce at Sat Jul 26 12:55:47 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Jeremy Pierce ] One year I had trouble with several clutches that had fully developed babies dead in the eggs. After I was done being upset I realized that every clutch that did poorly was more wet than the others. This particular year I used perilite instead vermiculite so I think I went overboard on the water just because I wasn't used to the perilite method. Since then I have went pack to vermiculite and have only had one dead in the egg since. It too was also the lowest egg in the most moist condition. I'm leaning more towards not dry, but definately not saturated. Just my two cents. Best of luck to you sir! [ Hide Replies ]
