No problem, learning is what the forums are best at....
To figure out multi morph pairings and expected outcomes, work each morph seperately
Snow is Anery and Albino DH Sunglow is Het Albino and Het Hypo
So that pairing has three diffent morphs involved...
Anery and Albino are both recessive or need two genes for the trait to show. Hypo is dominant and only needs one gene for the trait to show.
Anery (from the Snow)x normal from the DH Sunglow) = 100% het Anery
Albino x het Albino = 1/2 Albino, 1/2 het Albino
Het Hypo x normal = 1/2 het Hypo, 1/2 normal
Cross multiply each of the factors... Albino x Anery x Hypo for each of the possible outcomes...
Albino + het Anery + hypo (Sunglow het Anery) = 1/2 x 1/1 x 1/2 = 1/4
Het Albino + het Anery + hypo (TH Moonglow) = 1/2 x 1/1 x 1/2 = 1/4
Albino + het Anery + normal (Albino het Anery/Snow) = 1/2 x 1/1 x 1/2 = 1/4
Het Albino + het Anery + normal (DH Snow) = 1/2 x 1/1 x 1/2 = 1/4
This was a fairly simple cross with relatively easy to calculate outcomes. Just remember to use one factor for each morph even when the outcome is normal loooking. This method works for EVERY possible cross no matter how complicated. ----- Thanks,
