Well I guess that would be a relative term that would be hard to quantify, but I can tell you what is insufficient excersise; a box turtle living in a 20 gal aquarium with a food dish, water dish, and hide no more than 6 inches apart from each other, so the total max distance needed to travel per day (or on the treadmill) is 18" and total calories burned: null.
