Hello John,

good to see that the Kubsch Pastels
we sended you over are so nice.
I can remember them as yearlings years ago.
About the relation to the sq.tails.
I think they are related, but also different lines of selective breeding. The first sq.tail producing pair have been Kubsch pastels and they had visual signs that something is going on with their patterns. But we have never expected that they will produce that great animals we named squaretails. It was luck, like it nearly allways is with new morphs and it is now a proven genetic trait.Maybe if you breed your two Pastels together you will get a result that you never have expected.

PS. the snakes in the attached pic are the result of a kubsch x kubsch breeding, they have great color but not the nice pattern as the squaretails have.
