Be very careful with vacuum sealed. If they thaw, it sucks all the blood etc. out.
Earlier this month - the starter relay on my fridge went out. I got it repaired, but the rodents did thaw somewhat before the freezer was back in working order.
Now - they are a clumped mouse-cicle, but I can deal with that. Had they been vacuum sealed - they would be a mess.
Anyway - vacuum sealing is nice for long term storage, but it isn't 100% necessary that they be sealed that when they arrive. Ziplock bags are fine, and the way petco sells them are fine.
My little brother uses Petco exclusively for his kingsnake and his corn snake and it has never been an issue. They eat the petco rodents just fine and grow just fine. ----- I decided my old sig was too big.
